Learning Portal & Course Platform
An online academy your client can run themselves.
A complete learning management system with course creation, lesson sequencing, video embeds, student progress tracking, certificate generation, and Stripe-powered enrollment. Your client gets an admin dashboard to manage courses and students. No LearnDash, no WordPress, no plugin conflicts.
Saves ~45 hours of auth role management, progress tracking logic, certificate generation, and Stripe enrollment flows.
The Architecture
Why This Stack
Next.js for fast page loads and SEO on course landing pages. Supabase for auth (student + admin roles) and database (courses, lessons, progress, enrollments) with row-level security so students only see their own data. Stripe for one-time course purchases and subscription access. Markdown for lesson content so it's easy to author and version.
Why You Can't Just AI This
AI can generate a course listing page. It cannot build a progress tracking system that correctly marks lessons complete per student, generates PDF certificates on completion, handles enrollment payments with proper access gating, or manages video embed permissions. This kit has all of that wired up and tested.
Who this is for
Agencies building platforms for coaches, personal trainers, educators, corporate training departments, and online course creators who want their own branded platform instead of Teachable or Udemy.
Who this is NOT for
Anyone who needs a full university-scale LMS with SCORM compliance, grading rubrics, or live classroom features. This is built for independent course creators and small training businesses.

The e-learning market is exploding and every coach, trainer, and educator wants their own branded platform instead of giving 10% to Teachable. Agencies that can deliver a custom course platform in a week own this market. The demand is there, the competition is WordPress plugins from 2015.
